ABOUT TOM
Walking in two worlds, one of traditional healing and one of western psychology, Dr. Tom Pinkson is a conduit between ancient wisdom and contemporary society. For over forty years he has worked with indigenous elders from the deserts of Mexico to the jungles of the Amazon, embracing spiritual teachings and sharing them with integrity to both preserve ancient knowledge, and leverage that wisdom to create practical application for the issues that face our world today.
Tom has played a key role in two social movements of the 21st Century: the establishment and growth of the Hospice Program in the United States, and the introduction of the Native American based Vision Quest to mainstream America. As a popular Keynote Speaker, Life Coach, Business Consultant, Retreat Leader, Minister and Huichol Initiated Shaman, Pinkson has touched thousands of lives throughout the world, helping people return to their soul paths. He is a noted author and Founder of WAKAN, a community based non-profit organization committed to restoring the sacred in daily life.
A frequent joker and passionate musician, Tom is a practical mystic who empowers others to reach higher states of health, happiness, inner peace and fulfillment by working with spirit in a joyful way. He lives with his wife of forty years, Andrea Danek, and shares wholeheartedly in the adventures of his daughters, son-in-law and grandsons.
