EXECUTIVE TRANSITIONS
Larry W. had been at the top of his field for his entire career. A founder of two successful start ups, he faced his upcoming retirement with a desire to use his many gifts in a new more meaningful way, but he didn't know what that was. Without the structure of running his business, he felt lost and lacked direction. He had plenty of money to leave his children and grandchildren, but that didn’t feel like a complete legacy.
Through individual coaching sessions, and then a weeklong retreat, Larry was able to draw on the wisdom teachings of his own life experience. He discovered ways to grow into a wisdom elder that would contribute deeply to his family and community.
Working with the Five Development Tasks for Conscious Aging, Larry was able to chart a course for his retirement years that renewed his creativity and excitement and gave him a whole new lease on life.
Larry was happy to discover that he could actually live out the legacy that he wanted to leave his grandchildren. He is developing a weekend workshop for social entrepreneurs and taking his grandkids camping – a lot.
